2020 has got off to a busy start! Last week, we had several events, all happening at the same time. It took lots of planning and coordinating, but we pulled them all off, with help from our friends! The Mineola Antique Fair was Friday and Saturday, with us having to put the finishing touches on our new space on Thursday morning. This week I listened to a well-known pod-caster talk about time saving things in the new year. I took issue with some of the things that were said. As a small business owner and maker, who the podcast was targeted at, I felt there was some disconnect with how things work here in small-town America. The rural route... country rounds, the scenic route, back roads, dirt roads, farm to market roads... It's tree lined black tops and wisteria climbing the trees.  It's chickens crossing the road in front of you and the intoxicating smell of honeysuckle in the springtime.   It's old churches and cemeteries dotting the communities, along the way.  It's breathtaking, unforgettable sunsets and the stars are brighter at night.
