I am Janice East, owner of GypsyFarmGirl. My etsy shop, GypsyFarmGirl, started in 2011 and has grown over time to what it is today. We love creating pretty things for you! From our super soft graphic tees, fun accessories, and custom printed items to floral arrangements and rustic fabric bouquets, we love being able to help bring your isions to life nad play a part in your special moments in life.
Our hand made items have shipped to all 50 United States and several countries including Canada, Italy, Australia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Norway, and the United Kingdom. We have maintained a 5 Star rating on etsy and over 625 positive reviews, before starting our own website.
At the end of 2014, GypsyFarmGirl became my full time business, as I "quit the day job" and focused my attention on my online shop and our farm. Since then we have added more products including the upcycled clothing, graphic tees, and more home decor and vintage related items. I worked from home and did pop up shows, and boutique locations for several years.
As of the fall of 2020, our main booth location is located inside Nan's Place on the square in downtown Gilmer, Texas. We also have moved most, but not all of our production to our workshop located in the back of Nan's Place, as we were able to rent a back room and turn it into our workshop. This allows us to meet customers in town for consultations, pick ups, custom orders, etc. The workshop is located at 100 Davis St. Gilmer, TX.
We have even more in the boutique space than we have online, so if you see something in a picture and want it shipped, just ask!
Please note, while the store front is open regular hours Tuesday- Saturday, my workshop times can vary, as I bleach, wash and dry shirts at home, have deliveries to make, post office runs, farm business, etc. So if you are coming specifically to see me in person, it is best to make an appointment, so I can make sure I am there for you. You can still shop our booth space, even if I am not in the store. Nan's Place has on average 15+ different vendors who display their items in the boutique.
When I left the flower shop in 2014, I didn't plan to do fresh flowers anymore, although local friends and customers had a different idea and call on me from time to time for special events, weddings, and sympathy tribute pieces.
Follow us on social media, because you never know what we may get into! Oh and I promise to share cute baby calf and donkey pictures along the way! You can also find my GypsyFarmGirl Blog for more about us and see many of our projects we have created.
We appreciate each one who allows us to be a part of your special events and for everyone who supports our shop! Custom Orders are always welcome, so please send us a message!
